Julianna & John | Engagement Session

Picture this, a few short days after Christmas in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Julianna and John are in town to visit family for the holidays and we quickly snagged this opportunity to sneak in some engagement photos. Who could have guessed that we would end up with a gorgeously sunny 50 degree day?! Julianna had chosen McConnell’s Mill State Park and she knocked it out of the park! The water was a breathtaking and unexpected shade of aqua blue (check it out in some of their favorites below)! This session was set up for success before we even got there.

I was so excited to FINALLY meet Julianna and John as they were my FIRST official couple that booked with me for 2020. Oh! And they are just the sweetest people ever!! We have been in touch via FaceTime, email, text and so on because they live in Boston. Yup! You read correctly, they are living in Boston and planning their wedding for November 2020. . .in Pittsburgh! They are so calm, cool and collected and are the kind of people that you just want to hug immediately upon meeting. The sweet and loving warmth between the two of them was so much fun to capture! Julianna and John both have such joyful and infectious laughter. Even hiking up the crazy mountain back up to our cars, between my gasps to catch my breath they were so easy to talk to and laugh with. It was heartbreaking to hug goodbye knowing they will be headed back to Boston but, this time together just makes me more eager for their wedding day!

The Duquesne University alumni will be tying the knot in what I already know will be such a warm and heartfelt ceremony later this year in November. Stay tuned to see their gorgeous ceremony and reception blog post. Goodness gracious am I blessed to have these two AMAZING people in my life and that I am able to help capture their declaration of love. Oh man. . .I CAN’T WAIT!
